Drama - 1st October 2010

Today in Drama we showed are presentations about pantos. our teacher told us we need to improve it and add more information.

I know have 3 parts in the play which are:

- Bean man
He is the man who gives jack the tree magic beans and tells him
hes going to be rich..

- Villager 2 
Villager 2 is just a man that Jack Meets in the market
when he goes to sell daisy...

- The Goose with attitude  
The Goose with attitude is a goose whit magic powers that makes gold eggs and lives in the castle where the giant lives and she Said in the play ' I have to lay an egg each day in every kind o weather, it ruins my complexion look! Ive lost another feather.' Shes very dramatic.

Our Teacher explained to us the start of the play.
I've picked the goose because she seems very important and the children should like her character.
The Villager is very arrogant when he speaks to jack he says 'I'll buy her if your Price You Know its rather steep.. Ill send her to the Berger man'!
The Bean man is a very Important character he is the one who gives jack the tree magic beans with out him jack wouldn't of climbed the beanstalk.

Media - 30 september 2010

In Media we completed are photography project i found lots of pictures on google that i put on my PowerPoint Now i just need to say why i think these developments are important and what impact did they have on the way photographs was were taken after that I'm going to find out a bit about famous photographers .

Music - 29 September 2010

In Music we are learning a new song to go whit are winter project are music lessons are all right i thought they would have been boring but I'm actually liking them even thou I'm not so good on the steel pans i feel more confident as the lessons went by.
Are Winter song has a cool beat and I'm sure the people we will perform it to will like it but we have a lot of work to do on it because it kind of hard to remeber and i wont to try i get all my notes right

Drama- 24 September 2010

We changed are play to jack and the beanstalk because we thought Ali Baba wasn't really that traditional and it had more equal parts for every body
and we finished off are homework about pantos. I Found a lot of information on my pantos homework

Now we have to do a re search on Jack and the beanstalk to find out more about the play to help us understand the characters better. In the play im corantly doing two parts which are Villager Number 2 and The Goose I Think they are both very good parts.

in Music We have Been learning How To Play Steel Pans  Which are very fun even tho i have made some mistakes and got some notes wrong but i am getting better and better every lesson so far we have done 3 lessons we recorded the song we are doing called 'Watcha Talkin Bout'

Dance - 24 th september 2010

Today in Dance i Have Nearly finished my power point i explained some of Martha Grahams dance moves and emotions she was feeling which were mostly sad and unhappy depressed I didn't relay use any sites to explain how she felt i mostly try'd to explain myself in my own words.

In Dance we have been learning about contemporary dance and personally Ive
been doing Martha graham i found lots of and i think she has a very interesting personality and charisma
my power point  is mainly about her dance moves and her emotions and I'm moving on to talk about her dance technics

Media And Drama

Today In Media we learnt about Photography .
I found a lot of websites that had all type of information but none of them had the information i was looking for After a while i found what i was looking for and it really helped me with my work unfortunately i didn't complete all of my work but i was at my the final slide of my work.
I think today's Media lesson was all right

In Drama..
We decided on the play that  we  were going to learn which is Ali Baba.
I mainly choose it because it had a cool and funny name and i thought the primary schools that we where going to perfume them to are going to really enjoy it in drama we also talked about the other things that i might do in the following weeks which are :

- DJing

- Making Costumes

- Getting Props

- Making Horror film whit a thriller dance
